Competition Etiquete Rules for ALA Members
- Respect ALL teams competing, no negative
remarks or behavior allowed, you could jeopardize your competition status at ALA.
- Be proud of our accomplishments win or lose
regardless! This go's for cheerleaders and parents!
- Congratulate other competing teams for their
accomplishments.
- If you have a problem with a member from another
team, coach or staff member and it is serious see me! Do not take actions or words into your own hands...you could jeopardize our entire team and program of competing with the hosting organization EVER again! If it is petty, please wait until the day has ended to tell me- I work best with a positive vibe and don't want to hear negative remarks during competition.
- Bring a couple of bottled waters and a light
HEALTHY *clean snack for your child and keep in bag!
- Cheerleaders and Dancers should sit in their
groups/teams so I can easily find everyone when I need them. Parents, please do not give me a hard time re: this issue, if I have one allowed to sit with the family, the rest want to as well-it simply is not fair. Please make these hectic days as easy as possible for me. After awards, your cheerleader is welcome to sit with the family and enjoy the remainder of the day. Thank you!
- ALL cheerleaders and dancers should arrive fully
dressed and makeup applied! They are EXPECTED to show up ON TIME to our meeting destination- DO NOT BE LATE! and give yourself plenty of time to arrive.
- Only contact me during competition days if
emergency: 317-701-4310
- Parents are the sole responsible party for their
children, please make sure their behavior is acceptable, and that manners are being practiced. Cheerleaders should listen to the people I have instructed to be in charge of their team- If not, they can not compete with me again!
With this all said and done...I wish all girls a great and exciting day and love you all!!! Good Luck, work hard and don't forget to SMILE! I have faith in you win or lose, as long as you give it your personal best...You have already Won me over! Ms. Alisha
